New: SAINT-PIERRE Limestone

This dark brown limestone has brought natural beauty to many homes across North America and has built many of Quebec’s historic buildings over the past century.

Now harder than ever to find due to the original quarry coming to an end, Polycor sent its experts in search of this “Holy Grail”... and we found it!  Thus was born the Saint-Pierre limestone quarry at the edge of the continent, close to the island of Anticosti.

Thanks to the collaboration of the “Fonds de Solidarité FTQ”, Polycor proudly announces the official opening of this new quarry located at Havre-Saint-Pierre. The quarry will supply the Quebec market with a brown limestone resisting to the freeze-thaw cycles and similar to the patrimonial stone used especially in the historic part of Quebec City.The quarry is now in operation and we are eager to provide you with the most beautiful limestone products of your choice.
