Properties:
We have an emphyteutic lease with the right to extract stone and have acquired the property to use as a substitute for an American stone, of similar color (Deer Isle).
Reserves:
The reserves are big, in the order of several centuries. The rock formation of the region is well known: the thickness of the beds, even in the old quarries where they are very thin at the surface (20 to 40 cm), the beds get thicker rapidly, up to 2 meters and more as we get deeper. So, on this site or even on the surface, the beds have more than 1,50 meters in thickness and disappear rapidly.

San Sebastian is the grey granite that served to develop the bases for the industry around St-Sébastien, "La Mecque" of our industry in Québec. Carrières Polycor is proud to reintroduce it in the market.
