Stanstead (Québec) CANADA

The property is located in the district of Ogden, to the east of Lake Memphrémagog and the U.S border; approximately 50 km south of Sherbrooke. The region offers all the necessary services for production. It is also the quarry with the highest level of recuperation (50%) because of the monument base market which uses all the small blocks. Big blocks are reserved for construction. It is a bedded quarry that is exploited by natural layers using the horizontal joint of 1 to 5 meters in thickness in the first 10 meters of depth. The thickness of the beds increases with the depth and their existence facilitates the exploitation while cutting on production costs.
