Polycor Inc. is the world’s largest natural stone quarrier, with iconic projects such as the Empire State Building,  Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Memorial and many more of the world’s most historic buildings and landscapes. Polycor is very excited to announce that in 2019 we combined our core strengths and natural stones and created the Polycor Hardscapes & Masonry national program.  We are providing the same materials used in the world’s most iconic buildings to the local consumer and working with our distributors and contractors to create a new legacy for Polycor in natural stone excellence and sustainability. We are looking for a face to the brand that can provide our customers with education and excitement for Polycor Hardscapes & Masonry.

The Polycor Hardscapes & Masonry Contractor Trainer will be responsible to represent the company and brand in public, while promoting, building and maintaining brand position with contractors and distributors. The position requires an energetic and outward going personality that will be the face and voice of the Polycor Hardscapes and Masonry initiatives, tasked with developing and delivering the company’s message and promoting its products and programs

 

General duties of the Hardscapes & Masonry Contractor Trainer include:

  • Schedule and speak at training events, seminars, trade shows and dealer showcases
  • Coordinate and develop trainings, product knowledge tutorials and brand excitement
  • Public speaking and networking skills
  • Efficiently communicate and work with marketing team on program development and brand awareness opportunities
  • Ability to craft and develop a narrative to ensure effective communication of brand messaging
  • Conduct natural stone hands on construction best practices to hardscapers and masons
  • Well-rounded knowledge of national and regional competitors
  • Providing senior management with the necessary information and guidance for short- and long-range forecasting and marketing initiatives
  • Motivated and skilled at social media promotion
  • Communicate results to key stakeholders in order to support informed business decisions by providing in depth analysis and recommendations
  • Work with senior sales representatives in the U.S. & Canada to support, promote and develop new dealer business as well as grow existing

Job Requirements:

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree in Business Management
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in hardscapes & masonry construction
  • Experience in natural stone construction
  • Experience in public speaking
  • Project estimating & selling products/service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well organized and capable of running multiple tasks at a time
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be able to travel 70% of time in the U.S. & Canada
