The Project Manager will coordinate cut-to-size fabrication of natural stone projects (architectural projects, landscape projects,etc.).

The role of the Project Manager is to ensure the project is manufactured and billed according to the requirements, manage schedule,change orders and communicatewith the customers for different aspects of the projects.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the cut-to-size fabrication of natural stone projects (architectural projects, landscape projects, etc.).
  • Ensure customer-service standards by addressing quality issues, resolving problems, attending meetings with clients.
  • Work closely with the estimation, draftsperson, production and sales representative teams.
  • Manage the fabrication of projects manufactured by sub-contractors.
  • Track the progress of each production order.
  • Advise the production team on issues related to quality and lead time.
  • Make sure the production is done according to the budget of the quotation.
  • Assure that the projects are invoiced according to each contract.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience related to project estimation and/or project management in construction industry.
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Capacity to read blue prints and architectural plans. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
  • Mathematical ability for different calculations (square feet vs cubic feet, margins & mark-up, etc.).
  • Excellent capacity of time management and organization in your work. 
  • Ability in communication & negotiation with customers.
  • Capacity to work under pressure. 
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Ability to work with Standard and Metric system measurements is a must.
  • English speaking and writing.
