Polycor Announces Acquisition of Ebel Quarries

"Polycor Inc, a Quebec-based company specialized in quarrying, cutting, and distributing natural stone, announces the acquisition of Ebel Quarries, a limestone quarrier and fabricator located in Wiarton, Ontario. This transaction, closed on February 1st, will allow Polycor to expand its presence in Ontario to get ahead of the increasing demand for natural stone and to diversify its comprehensive product line by adding a new subsidiary to its extraction and finishing network."

“Birch Hill Equity Partners and Investissement Québec announced today that they have acquired Polycor Inc. in partnership with the company’s management from TorQuest Partners and its co-investors, Wynnchurch Capital, and PNC Mezzanine Capital. Polycor is the largest quarrier of natural stone in the world. The transaction, which closed on April 29, 2022, will support the continued growth of Polycor in Québec and across its global operations.”
