Queen Anne Victorian
(Featured On This Old House)

Narragansett, Rhode Island was first surging in popularity as a summer resort town in 1887 when this Queen Anne Victorian home was first built. And the 21’st century renovation included a nod to the past with the inclusion of natural stone hardscaping from Polycor’s iconic North American quarries, the same stones that built the nearby historic Newport mansions in the early 1900’s. From Pattern Pavers, to Eastern Gray granite treads and tons of Indiana Limestone – Full Color Blend Rockford veneers, this glorious restoration was featured on This Old House.

The renovation of this Queen Anne Victorian property presented a unique challenge: how to introduce modern outdoor living spaces while respecting the home’s centuries-old historic character. The solution utilized Indiana Limestone 3 size pattern pavers to modernize the space while maintaining the charm and history of the home.
